ABOUT US
My name is Linda Miller, and Comfofeet didn’t start as a business idea. It started as a feeling I couldn’t ignore anymore.
For years, I spent most of my days on my feet. Long hours, busy routines, always on the move. I didn’t think much about it back then—I thought feeling knackered at the end of the day was just part of the deal. Something we all just lived with.
What I didn’t realize was how quietly that tiredness was adding up.
By the time I got home, my legs felt heavy. My feet ached in that dull, constant way that never fully goes away. I would slip into “comfortable” slippers, expecting relief… and feel almost nothing change. They were soft, sure. Warm, sometimes. But the pressure, the fatigue, the strain—it all stayed.
That’s when I noticed something: Comfort, as it was being sold, wasn’t real comfort.
Most slippers were designed to look cozy for a photo, not to actually support a person’s body. They felt okay for five minutes, but they didn't help you recover. And shoes meant for heading out almost always asked you to trade something off—support, space, or comfort—just to look presentable.
Somewhere along the way, we all accepted the idea that you had to choose:
-
Look good or feel good.
-
Be comfortable or be able to step outside.
-
Rest your feet or live your life.
I never understood why.
I began paying attention to the people around me—friends, family, workmates. Everyone had the same story: sore feet, tired legs, shoes they couldn’t wait to kick off, and slippers that didn’t really help. We talked about it casually, like it was inevitable. But it shouldn’t be.
That quiet, everyday discomfort is what pushed me to start ComfoFeet.
Not to create “just another slipper.” Not to follow fleeting trends. But to design footwear that actually respects how the body works—especially after a long day on the job or out exploring our beautiful backyard.
I wanted footwear that felt right the moment you put it on. Something that allowed your feet to relax instead of collapse. Something that provided warmth without stiffness, and softness without feeling unstable. I wanted something you could wear around the house, but also step onto the deck, run a quick errand, or take the dog for a walk without feeling like you were wearing "indoor-only" shoes.
Because in New Zealand, life doesn’t stop at the front door.
At ComfoFeet, we design for natural movement. We focus on reducing unnecessary pressure and helping your feet and legs truly unwind. Our footwear is made for slow mornings, long evenings, and everything in between.
I didn’t want people to overthink their footwear. I wanted them to trust it.
Trust that their feet have room to breathe and move. Trust that the comfort won’t disappear after an hour. Trust that they don’t need to switch shoes just to step outside into the garden.
What matters to us is simple:
-
Honest comfort.
-
Thoughtful design.
-
Footwear that adapts to real daily life.
ComfoFeet is for people who are tired of settling. For those who understand that well-being starts from the ground up. This brand isn’t about being perfect; it’s about care.
Care for tired feet. Care for long days. Care for the moments when you finally slow down—and the ones when you don’t.
That’s what ComfoFeet stands for. And that’s why we do what we do.
